During the COVID-19 pandemic, he provided crucial counseling and insights via media platforms. His work extends globally through phone consultations, and he has been honoured by the Governors of Haryana and Odisha for his outstanding contributions. He has made significant contributions as an Associate Professor and Principal of Government Colleges and continues to serve as a psycho-educationist. Dr Puri's illustrious career is decorated with numerous accolades, including the Best Lecture Award from the Haryana Government, recognition from the Health Department for his contributions to mental health, and the prestigious Haryana Gaurav Award from the Haryana State Council For Child Welfare, besides many other awards and appreciations. His expertise has been widely sought after, with thousands of expert opinions featured in newspapers and magazines, and he has authored many articles in leading newspapers and magazines. He has been honoured twice by the Honorable Governor of Haryana, Sh. Bandaru Dattatreya, and twice by the Honorable Governor of Odisha, Prof. Ganeshi Lal, for his outstanding contributions. His role in the "Nayi Disha" counseling platform of the Government's Higher Education Department in Haryana has been officially acknowledged by the Director General of Higher Education. The Air Force, NGOs, schools, colleges, and university departments have all recognized and appreciated Dr. Puri for hiscontributions to the mental health field. He has held important positions as a Member of the Court and the Academic Council of Kurukshetra University, elected unanimously. He also became the best president of District 3090 of ROTARY INTERNATIONAL and received many international [appreciation and awards for his club.
Community Engagement and Counseling:
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr Puri collaborated with government bodies to provide crucial counseling to individuals across Haryana, as recommended by the Public Relations Department of the Haryana Government. He also extended his services to migrant laborers and shared valuable mental health insights via YouTube and other media platforms. He has been a cornerstone in the psychological assessment of juveniles, working with the Juvenile Justice Board and the counselling platform "Nayi Disha" under the Government's Higher Education Department in Haryana. He has authored hundreds of psychoeducational articles in newspapers and magazines.
Educational Contributions:
Dr Puri has been a key figure in educational initiatives, including contributing to the curriculum change committee for psychology in Haryana. He has delivered educational lectures as a primary resource person for EDUSAT, a project of the Education Department, Haryana to provide quality education through satellite in collaboration with the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD)and ISRO, Bengaluru. He has evaluated PhD theses and assessed scholars through viva voce of various universities. His educational outreach includes delivering lectures to thousands of students and others through the "Udaan"(a Facebook Live program) an initiative of the Department of Higher Education, Haryana. He had a notable contribution in the field of education where he was a member of the Board of Studies of the University several times, paper setter. As a college Associate Professor of Psychology, he was one of the most liked teachers and his result was usually 100 percent.

Dr Puri has led teams of psychologists under projects of the Legal Services Authority like "Nai Umang," interacting with convicts and under-trial prisoners and providing counseling under the "Debarred by Bars" initiative. His expertise also extends to training the Air Force, police personnel, teachers, students and social leaders in stress management.

An author of four books, including the popular "Manovigyan Ke Saat Jadui Mantra," Dr Puri has contributed extensively to national and international journals on mental health.
